Terms used in describing Scout's epilepsy.
Focal
Scout has absences where she stares vacantly or she has head twitches that make her head bobble.
Generalized
Scout will have body jerks and spasms that last about 30 to 60 seconds. She takes about an hour to come around.
Secondary
A focal seizure that leads into a generalized seizure.
